Online Hawaii Medical Marijuana Cards

It’s been a project that the Hawaii Department of Health has worked on for most of 2018 but the wait is almost over and you will soon be able to print your Hawaii Medical Marijuana card online. The launch of online medical cards is coming in March 2019 and this will dramatically reduce the wait time patients experience. Currently it takes between 5-10 days to receive your medical marijuana card and that was a already a big increase over the speeds of 4-6 weeks that patients experienced back in 2016 until mid 2018 when wait time was reduced drastically. We’re very happy to see the Department of Health making progress in making medical marijuana more accessible to Hawaii’s patients.

Once the Department of Health updates the medmj.ehawaii.gov site next month you will receive your card instantly online and you will NOT receive a paper copy in the mail. Simply print out your card and take it with you along with your ID and you can then purchase medical cannabis in any of Hawaii’s seven dispensaries.
