New Edible Types Coming Soon

The Hawaii Medical Cannabis Registry recently announced changes to the types of edible cannabis products that 329 medical cannabis card patients can purchase at Hawaii medical cannabis dispensaries. Dispensaries have been limited to capsules, lozenges, topical oils and sublingual drops for the last 5 years and for many patients these limited edible products are not attractive. The new rule changes will allow dispensaries to produce and sell Gummies, Chocolate Bars, Cookies, Brownies, Honey, and Beverages. These changes are very welcome and many patients have been waiting on these products as they prefer the longer-lasting effects of edible cannabis.
