Cannabis Helps Prevent Covid-19

Preliminary research done at Oregon State University indicates that the compounds in cannabis can block the Covid-19 virus from entering human cells. Without getting too much into the technical aspects of the study scientist have demonstrated that cannabigerolic acid (CBGA) and cannabidiolic acid (CBDA) bind onto the spike protein of the Covid-19 virus making it impossible for the virus to infect human cells! This blocking of the spike protein on the virus applies to all variants of the Covid-19 virus including the Omicron variant that is so prominent now. The study found smoking cannabis is significantly less effective in blocking the spike because of decarbonization changing some of the compounds so eating cannabis is the preferred way to ingest it to give yourself potential Covid-19 protection.
